The CBICC Board of Directors is made up of prominent business and industry leaders from across Centre County. They help shape the direction of our organization by providing counsel, engaging in discussion, and contributing to our community. Serving on the board begins with a 2-year commitment, but can result in up to X years, and can include serving on the Executive Committee.

Greg Scott, President and CEO of the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County
In this role, Greg’s primary responsibility is to provide effective leadership to the organization and its members in carrying out the Chamber’s mission, directing internal operations and developing external relationships beneficial to business and community advancement.
He oversees the Chamber’s economic-development activity under the banner of the Centre County Industrial Development Corporation/Centre County Economic Development Partnership.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Greg led various business operations during a 25-year career in higher education. He held leadership roles at three major research institutions, including Rutgers University, Penn State University, and most recently at the University of Pittsburgh, where he served as the Senior Vice Chancellor of Business Operations.
Greg is a U.S. Navy veteran who served as an officer in the Civil Engineer Corps. During his tenure, he was the assistant resident officer in charge of construction in Twentynine Palms, California, and the assistant public works officer in Indian Head, Maryland.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State, an MBA from National University, and a Penn State Executive Management Program certificate.
Greg is a Centre County native and a graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He and his wife, Erica, reside in State College
